BUSINESS POLICIES

Booking Inquiry – As a courtesy, the session/event date requested is reserved and held for 7 days from the time initial inquiry was received.

 

Session Location – You may choose a location of your choice inside, outside, the comfort of your home or my in-home studio in SI, NY. I can suggest a few locations for you if you are unsure. If location of your choosing seems unsafe, I can refuse to photograph at selected location.

 

Travel Fee Travel fees may apply. Ask for specifics. Varies based on location.

 

Running Late – If you are running late to your session, please text or call. If you are more than 15 minutes late and I have not heard from you, I will assume you are not coming. Retainer fee will then be carried over to a rescheduled date.

 

Payments – 50% non-refundable retainer fee is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due the day of session if paying by Cash/Venmo/Apple Pay. If paying remaining balance by check, payment must be mailed 2 weeks prior to session date.

 

Fees – There is an administration fee of $40 for NSF checks.

 

Pricing – All pricing is subject to change at any time. Pricing provided to you will be valid for only 30 days.

 

Permits – Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits required for photo locations and to make arrangements/payment to have said permit available on session date.

 

Cancellation/Rescheduling – In the event of a cancellation/rescheduling of session, please contact me as soon as possible. I will use the retainer fee towards a replacement date that is suitable to my schedule.

If session is cancelled and additional vendors or photographers are involved and I am unable to cancel them at zero cost, you will be responsible for payment of those additional vendors.

If you or someone in the session is sick, please call to reschedule your session. It is never fun being photographed when not feeling well and it will show in your photos.

Rescheduling due to bad weather will be rescheduled with no additional fee.

 

Session Re-Shoot – Based on my discretion, re-shoots will be given if unforeseen situations arise. A re-shoot will not be offered due to dissatisfaction with your choice of clothing, hair, wind, facial expressions, etc. If you would like to schedule a re-shoot due to something happening that was not in your control, I offer a 20% discount for a re-shoot. Your re-shoot must be scheduled within 2-3 weeks from initial session. The 20% discount for re-shoot does not apply to mini sessions.

 

Studio Lighting – Studio portrait lighting is available.

 

Retouch/Editing – Photos are always edited and enhanced. Additional requested touch ups/changes to a photo(s) would be done for an added fee.

Once you have received your photos you may not change cropping, alter or color change any of the photos.

 

Delivery of Digital Photos – Photos will be delivered via online gallery for download within 2-3 weeks after session. If you require photos to be expedited there will be an additional fee. This should be discussed before session date. Raw or unedited files will never be given out.

Delivery/Payment of Finished Printed Material – For printed material, you are welcome to pick-up your photo(s) in person/meet at a central location. Photo(s) can also be shipped at an additional cost. Printed materials will take 2-3 weeks after payment has been received. Albums take 3-4 weeks after payment has been received. Once payment has been received, no changes or cancellations could be made. All sales are final.

 

High Resolution Files – You agree to assume full responsibility for the care and condition of all digital files. I recommend storing copies in several locations, including off-site storage. I am not responsible for the color reproduction of enlargements from these files that been taken to non-professional and/or consumer type labs. I will keep a copy of these files for 3 months after the date of the above stated service. Requests for digital files after the 3 months will incur an additional cost of $75.
